BodyFX™ is an exciting new radio-frequency-assisted device that results in permanent fat cell death, non-surgical fat reduction and cellulite improvement. Non-surgical liposuction and fat reduction patients will benefit from BodyFX™ in several ways. BodyFX™ is a painless, non-surgical liposuction-like procedure that is performed in an outpatient setting and requires no topical or local anesthesia. The BodyFX™ applicator is simply placed over the area of unwanted fat and cellulite and the treatment is initiated. The BodyFX™ applicator consists of gentle, painless suction-coupled radiofrequency (RF) energy that simultaneously tightens the skin and permanently reduces distended and unwanted fat cells under the skin. It takes approximately 20 minutes to treat an area of unwanted fat or cellulite and that area is generally the size of two hands. Common areas treated include the lower or upper abdomen, the hips, the outer thighs, the inner thighs, the bra line, the back of the flanks, the inner knees and the upper arms. Unwanted cellulitic areas that are treated effectively by the BodyFX™ include the back of the thighs, the buttocks, the anterior thighs and any other area of lumpy, bumpy irregular cottage cheese-like (cellulitic) skin. At the completion of the treatment, patients are able to return to full activities immediately and there is no down time or discomfort.
