Meet Chrissy Thomas & About Face Staff

Owner Chrissy Thomas, RN, BSN, has worked in the field of skin care since1996. A graduate of Georgia Baptist College of Nursing in Atlanta, she has held positions as charge nurse of plastic surgery for Egleston Children’s Hospital (now Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta), and director of adult plastic surgery and director of skin care services for Plastic Surgery Consultants in Atlanta.

Sam Thomas holds a BS degree from Emory University. After a 17 year career in the Information Technology arena, he left his position in December of 2010, to join his wife (Chrissy Thomas) with managing the practice in a business development role tasked with overseeing such duties as growing market share, daily operations, marketing, client retention, web development & social media, and business expansion.

Tina-Ann Kerr Thompson, MD spent most of her life in Hartford, CT. She received her Bachelor of Science degree at Yale University. After graduating from Boston University School of Medicine, she completed the Emory Family Medicine Residency Program . She is Board Certified by the American Academy of Family Medicine. She is a member of the Georgia and American Association of Family Practice. She serves as a preceptor for medical students from Emory University and Mercer School of Medicine.

Sona Martinez is a licensed Master Cosmetologist and has worked as a freelance hair and make-up artist for over nine years. Her work includes professional photo shoots, commercial and video production, print advertising, and fashion editorials. She has the remarkable talent to enhance the natural beauty of the face and maintains a clientele list across the nation. After working years as a freelance make-up artist Sona expanded her talent and knowledge in the skin care industry.

Peggy Donovan holds a B.S. degree in business from Brenau University in Gainesville.  After a 25-year career in accounting and benefits administration with Johnson & Johnson, she decided to enter the field of skincare.  She was an About Face client for many years before becoming a staff member in 2010, and is currently pursuing an Esthetician’s Certification at Lanier Technical College in Gainesville.  Peggy and her husband live in Flowery Branch.

Kelly Schoeneck is a licensed medical aesthetician, specializing in a broad range of services, such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion and photofacials. She became interested in aesthetics while working as a massage therapist. She then enrolled at the Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics, earning her certification in 2004. She truly believes that taking good care of your skin goes a long way toward boosting confidence and self-esteem. Kelly resides in Lawrenceville with her husband and two children.

Kathy Davis joined us at our Front Desk assisting with appointments, scheduling and providing customer service. Kathy and her family have lived in Gwinnett since 1985.  She previously worked for 10 years with Dr. Thomas A. Lois (Plastic Surgical Services in Snellville, GA) assisting with patient scheduling.

Cherri Dursee is responsible for all administrative services related to the practice.  She has been with About Face Skin Care since 2005, and continues to serve and educate customers about the latest skincare news.
