Chrissy Thomas, RN, BSN
Tina-Ann Kerr Thompson, MD
Tina-Ann Kerr Thompson, MD spent most of her life in Hartford, CT. She received her Bachelor of Science degree at Yale University. After graduating from Boston University School of Medicine, she completed the Emory Family Medicine Residency Program . She is Board Certified by the American Academy of Family Medicine. She is a member of the Georgia and American Association of Family Practice. She serves as a preceptor for medical students from Emory University and Mercer School of Medicine. Dr. Thompson has served as the Treating and Delegating Physician for About Face Skin Care since 2011.
Mary Jackson, RN
Mary Jackson, RN is a graduate of Pace University School of Nursing in New York. Mary has worked in many areas of medicine and began her journey in anti-aging with About Face in 2012. Mary is a Master Level Cosmetic Injector and Assistant Laser Specialist.
Through their expertise in different fields of medicine and healthcare, they have come together to specialize in different anti-aging and cosmetic treatments and procedures that will provide you with breath-taking and life-transforming results. Our Licensed Medical Estheticians and Technicians
Cherri Dursee was the first employee hired at About Face Skin Care and has been with the practice since 2005. After nine years of working the front desk, Cherri made the decision to return to school and became a Licensed Esthetician at The Elaine Sterling Institute in 2014. Cherri also holds certifications as an Assistant Laser Specialist, microblading and is an Oncology Certified Esthetician.
Sona Martinez holds certifications as both a Licensed Master Cosmetologist and as a Licensed Medical Esthetician. After working as a makeup artist at an event for About Face, Sona began working with us as an esthetician in 2010 and has expanded her role to managing and training our aesthetics services. Sona also holds certifications in phlebotomy and as an Assistant Laser Specialist. She is also a Certified Coolsculpting Provider.
Peggy Donovan left a life of retirement from Johnson & Johnson to return to work part time with About Face in 2010. After a short while working the desk, Peggy returned to school to obtain her Licensed Esthetician certification. When Peggy’s husband retired in 2015, Peggy changed her status to PRN and continues to help service our clients, working a couple of prescheduled days and other times when we need an extra hand. Peggy is also an Assistant Laser Practitioner.
LaTrenda Wilson holds a certification as a Master Cosmetologist. LaTrenda is a former salon owner who has enjoyed expanding her knowledge in the field of skin care. LaTrenda has enjoyed being a part of our Side Step Oncology Aesthetics program and currently holds a certification in Oncology Aesthetics and as an Assistant Laser Specialist.
OUR SUPPORT TEAM
Sam Thomas (Owner) holds a BS degree from Emory University. After a 17 year career in the Information Technology arena, he left his position in December of 2010, to join his wife (Chrissy Thomas) with managing the practice in a business development role. He is tasked with overseeing duties such as growing market share, daily operations, marketing, client retention, web development, social media, and business expansion.
Susie Moe received her undergraduate degree from Auburn University and her Master of Business Administration from Central Missouri State. After years in the corporate world, she spent time at home raising her three children and pursuing other interests. Susie began working with our front desk team in 2013 and since has become our Practice Manager.
Front Desk Associate
Jenny Bland joined the About Face staff in 2018 as a member of our front desk team. Jenny is also our buyer for our boutique items and makes sure our office is stocked with beautiful baubles to browse when you visit our spa. Jenny moved to the states from England in 1998 and has lived in Snellville for over 20 years.
Katie Gregory joined the About Face team in 2018. Katie brings extensive experience in retail management and impeccable customer service skills. Katie is the Assistant Practice Manager and Event Planner for About Face.
Kathy Erisman joined the About Face team in the fall of 2016. Kathy’s attention to detail and prior medical office training have made her an important part of our team in maintaining medical records, HIPAA compliance training, managing license details and helping the practice transition into an electronic medical records system.
